Cultivation of new fruit varieties in Germany
Since the early 2000s, new pome fruit varieties of commercial interest have increasingly been offered only in combination with cultivation and marketing licenses. These include Rockit® and Kissabel®. To avoid a split-up of the portfolio, the German producer organizations set up their own sales company, Red Apple Germany GmbH.
